"Eric Löbbecke completed a UNSW art and design MFA of research 2021. A multidisciplinary Artist, with a painting, sculpting and printmaking practice. Represented by Stella Downer Fine art. In Sydney. His latest show “Letters for a Lover” was in 2024, and just completed a short residency at the Lockup in Newscastle 2025. The “Southerly Buster” print was produced in a weekend Massive Monoprint workshop, on masterprinter Jenny Robinson’s “little darling” large scale press in Darlington, Sydney.
He worked up to 2020 for 32 years as an award winning political cartoonists on the Australian Newspaper and exhibited in fine art since 2008. With works in many Australian institutions, including the Mitchell library, and museum of democracy Canberra."
