Johnathon World Peace Bush is an artist, poet and human rights advocate. His work draws on
his background as an Indigenous Tiwi Islander based on remote, traditional lands of Melville
Island (population approx. 500) yet immersed in contemporary culture. Honest about the
complexities of heritage, in both subject and material, Bush draws on the multiple histories of
the Tiwi people."
