"Artist Bio - Jacinta Taylor is a Yued Noongar/Ngadju multi-media visual artist
based in Boorloo. Jacinta is mostly self-taught, and works with a
range of mediums, with a particular interest in clay. As an emerging
artist, when Jacinta isn’t creating, they spend their time working as an
Art Technician, and studying Visual Art at Edith Cowan University.
Jacinta’s art centres on connection to Country. Many of their works
serve as a celebration of the natural environment, while other pieces
present a more poignant commentary on both present day and
historical issues of social injustice and serve as a form of truth telling."
