Iron-on Instructions:
To make the most out of patch life please read through the instructions below. We use professional iron-on glue for our patches. It requires a very hot iron and strong pressure.
- Choose a fabric that can deal with the heat: Natural fibres like cotton, linen, and denim are a great choice. Do not iron onto silk, wool, synthetics, or leather. It will be a mess! If in doubt, test how your garment reacts to the heat in an invisible spot.
- Heat your iron to maximum heat (no steam!).
- Lie your garment on a flat, hard surface. Make sure it’s clean & dry before getting started.
- Place your patch, then place a thin piece of cloth on top of your patch for protection. - Press your iron as hard as you can onto the patch until the glue melts. Don’t move the iron around. Hold for 30 seconds. Don’t burn your garment!
- Wait until things have cooled down, then check the bind of the patch. If necessary, start again.
- To seal the deal, turn the garment inside out, and press the iron against the back of the fabric.
- Wait 72 hours for the glue to dry out completely before washing.
Care Instructions:
- Wash your garments inside out, max. 30 degrees.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not iron the iron-on patch after washing.
- Glue might weaken over time. Sew your patch on to keep it forever.
