Cynthia Poh

Cynthia Poh is a jewellery designer and beader with over 20 years of experience. Trained in San Francisco, California, she is well versed in different jewellery making techniques and specialises in bead weaving. Since her move to Perth in 2011, she has exhibited extensively at art exhibitions, including Fine Art@Hale, Fine Art at Perth College, Army Art, Bead Extraordinaire and has commissioned works with clientele from Australia and Singapore.  Cynthia’s works have previously been represented by Yallingup Galleries and Gunyulgup Galleries in Margaret River region (both have ceased now), and currently with Mundaring Arts Centre, FOUND at Fremantle Arts Centre and Bastide Colombe in Singapore.  

Cynthia’s beadwork style is a juxtaposition of traditional and avant-garde, balancing simplicity with a touch of sophistication. She likes to experiment with different types of gemstones and beads sourced from various international regions when creating her pieces. She finds her design inspiration in anything from her surroundings and extensive travels. Using various bead weaving techniques, every bead is meticulously hand stitched to create a masterpiece.   Cynthia Poh Jewellery is ideally suited to the modern woman who seeks stylish accessories to embellish her wardrobe with uniqueness.
